Can I see samples of your work?

Absolutely! You can see samples of Michelle’s writing and projects for our clients in our portfolio.

What are your fees?

Every client and every project is different. Whether you need editing, writing, or resume services, we want to know where you’re headed. Then we can quote you a fee and help you meet your goals.

On large editing projects, we offer free sample edits of up to 1,000 words so you can assess the quality of our work and see if we’re a good fit. The sample edit also allows us to give you a firm quote on your investment in our services.

What are your business hours?

We understand that you may not be able to communicate with us during traditional business hours. We’re happy to meet with you, talk to you, email you, or online conference with you outside the typical 9-to-5 window.

Before hiring you, how will I know if we’re a good fit?

In any business relationship, communication is the key to establishing a good rapport. What is your preferred method of communication? Phone? Email? Face-to-face if you’re local? We can communicate through any of those methods and via online conferences too.

On large editing projects, we offer free sample edits of up to 1,000 words so you can assess the quality of our work and see if we’re a good fit. The sample edit also allows us to give you a firm quote on your investment in our services.

Once I hire you, how will the editing or writing process work?

On large editing projects (e.g., books), we email edited copy to you as each third of the project is completed. On shorter editing projects, we typically email the copy to you within 5 to 7 business days. Yes, we can do rush jobs, but we charge more for them.

In either case, you will get a clean copy and a copy that tracks all the changes that were made and shows our explanations in the margins. We are always happy to answer, at no charge, any follow-up questions about edits made to your document.

If you need a resume or copy written, we will send you a questionnaire to complete for the type of project desired. Once all our questions are answered, we can generally have a draft document back to you in 5 to 7 business days. You will have 3 business days to request any changes to the document.
